• Contact and booking details: your name, email address, phone number, appointment date, selected time zone and consultation topic.
• Information about your pet: name, species, age or age at loss, and any relevant information you choose to provide in the optional notes.
• Messages and consultation information: your enquiries and communications needed to prepare for or provide the service. Please share only information relevant to your consultation.
• Payment and administration records: the amount, currency, payment status, booking or transaction reference, and information needed for receipts, refunds and accounting.
• Technical information: information such as IP address, browser, device and security logs processed by our website host or the booking and payment providers.

The SenCareVet website does not collect or store your full card number or card security code. These are handled in Stripe’s payment interface.

3. Why we use it

We use this information to answer enquiries, arrange and provide consultations, send appointment information, process payments and refunds, keep required business records, and protect the service against misuse.

Where applicable, the legal grounds are taking steps at your request before a contract and performing the contract, complying with legal obligations, and legitimate interests such as keeping the service secure and handling enquiries. Where a separate activity relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future.

Booking a consultation does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Providers involved

• Cal.com: scheduling, booking forms, appointment management, confirmation messages and the video service specified in your booking. See Cal.com’s Privacy Policy.
• Stripe: payment processing, payment security, transaction records and refunds. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
• SeoHost: hosting the SenCareVet website and the domain email service used for enquiries and administration.

Video consultations take place through the provider specified in your confirmation. Audio, video and related connection data are processed as needed for the call. Recording is not part of the advertised service; any proposed recording must be discussed and agreed in advance.

Providers may act as processors or handle some information under their own legal responsibilities, as described in their notices. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law.

5. Website features and cookies

Our website uses a session cookie to help protect the email enquiry form against misuse. This cookie may be set when the page loads. Font files, payment-brand icons and the portrait are served from our own website host.

The Cal.com booking interface is loaded when you choose to open the calendar. The booking, video and payment tools may use cookies, local storage and technical information for their functions and security. Their own notices and available controls apply to those tools.

We do not add advertising or analytics scripts to the SenCareVet website. Links to Instagram and other external sites lead to services governed by their own privacy notices.

6. Retention, security and international processing

We retain information for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing the consultation, answering follow-up enquiries, dealing with cancellations, refunds or disputes, and meeting applicable accounting and legal retention requirements.

The website uses HTTPS and access to administration is restricted. The booking and payment providers apply their own security measures. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Some providers may process information outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area. Where required, international processing must rely on the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law. The providers’ privacy notices explain their locations and transfer arrangements.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. Some information may have to be retained to meet legal obligations or handle legal claims.

You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or another competent data-protection authority where applicable.
